On Broadway's biggest night, the theater community has banded together ahead of the Tony Awards to pay their respects to the victims of the shooting in Orlando, Florida.
According to the The New York Times' Michael Paulson, the Hamilton cast will no longer use muskets in their Tony performance in light of the attack at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando. The production reached this decision following the dress rehearsal, during which time the props were featured.
Over 50 people were killed in what is being reported as the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. Earlier today, it was announced that this evening's Tony Awards ceremony is dedicated to the victims of the tragedy.
